Rooting Android devices refers to the modification of the original Android version installed in your device. By Rooting android, you can get complete access to everything in the operating system, and the permission of modifying it all.

Android is one of the most customizable operating systems in the market. But you can’t change the look and feel of your device. This is because android manufacturing companies impose several limitations on your devices.

You can overcome these restrictions by rooting. Rooting android lets you break all those restrictions and tap the true potential of your device.

Modern Android devices are a lot better than they used to be in the past. But many of us still want to root our phones and look for information about how to root android.

What Is Root?

Rooting android allows you to go deeper into a phone’s sub-system. After rooting you can access the entirety of the operating system to customize your Android device, and you can skip away any restrictions, or uninstall forced applications that the manufacturing company has imposed on you.

Your Android phone uses Linux permissions and file-system ownership. As a user, you can do certain things based on your user’s permission. After Android rooting, A small file called SU (switch user) is placed in the system.

The root user is equivalent to the Administrator user on Windows. It makes you in charge of your device. With this, you can control your phone or tablet that you couldn’t do before.

Important Notes Before Rooting

Users should be fully aware of the potential risks of rooting:

  • Any data loss incurred for the failure of the previous backup.
  • If something goes wrong during the rooting process, you run the risk of corrupting your device.
  • Rooting voids away your device warranty
  • The inability to auto-update officially
